STRETCH AND sculpt pilates - level 2 & 3

Venue: The Hayloft, 1-3 Bond Street, London W4 1QZ

This class uses a resistance band to hone and tone all the tricky areas of the body. With equal emphasis on upper and lower body work, you will get great muscle tone on yours arms, shoulders, legs and hips, as well as increase your core strength by conditioning the abdominals and back. This is a challenging class with the exercises designed to tighten, trim and tone your physique, as well as flexibility exercises to release and stretch the muscles. Rachel uses all the traditional principles of pilates with this class, the resistance bands just add a little something extra to enhance your workout- a great class to take in addition to your regular Pilates class. Level 2 & 3.

 

We’re mixing it up this term by combining stretch exercises and resistance work with a band. This class will mix both passive and dynamic stretches that will simultaneously lengthen and strengthen every muscle in your body. Using both open and closed kinetic chain exercises your body will become more flexible, more functional and stronger whilst the attention to detail we use in the Pilates method will help you develop your core strength and control. This results in leaner muscles, improved joint mobility and a body free of tension, that moves with ease, feels stronger and leaves you energized and ready for your day.
